Radisson launches Experience Meetings

Radisson Blu Water Garden Hotel Dhaka announced the rollout of Experience Meetings, the brand's exciting, new meetings and events program that will launch across the globe in 2014. Developed as a means to improve the effectiveness of meetings, the programme will place a strong emphasis on innovations in food and beverage; changes to the spatial environment; and advancements in meeting technology.
With Experience Meetings, guests around the globe can rely on a consistent product wherever their meeting needs may take them. Professionals can tailor their meeting experience from a creative surrounding that benefits their respective learning styles, to culinary offerings that stimulate the mind.
Aptly named Brain Food, the culinary component of Experience Meetings was a collaborative effort between chefs and nutritionists from around the world. These culinary experts were tasked with creating an elevated catering programme that would increase the meeting attendees' concentration and reduce fatigue through food. To do so, experts focused on The Six Brain Food Principles; including use of locally sourced ingredients, with minimal processing and natural sweeteners, such as fish, whole grains, fruit and vegetables. The experts have produced menus specific to each location that will help stabilise and maintain participants' blood sugar levels, ultimately resulting in a higher cognitive function and less fatigue.
Brain Box is an environmental concept designed to boost creativity and inspire active engagement based on the four different learning styles: visual, kinesthetic, tactile and auditory. When implemented, it creates an atmosphere that stimulates teamwork and brainstorming using bright colours, flexible furniture, and audio and visual technology. Each element is conducive to creating a highly effective and tailored meeting.
Formally recognised by Green Meeting Industry Council (GMIC) as a leader in sustainable meetings, Radisson Blu's Experience Meeting ensures a green approach to all global meetings and solidifies the brand's dedication to reducing the carbon footprint.
