Ctg MP, 11 other members of his family tested Covid-19 positive

Ruling Awami League lawmaker Mostafizur Rahman Chowdhury of Chattogram-16 (Banskhali upazila) constituency was tested positive for coronavirus along with 11 other members of his family.

 The virus infected other members include the lawmaker's wife, three daughters, son in-law, grandchild, three domestic help and his personal secretary, reports our Chattogram correspondent quoting A K M Mostafijur Rahman Russel, personal secretary of the lawmaker.

Their report came positive on May 2, he said.  

Russel who also tested positive for Covid-19 told The Daily Star that his boss was feeling unwell with mild fever at the end of June prompted him to get all family members tested for the virus.

He said all the infected including the MP are in isolation and doing fine.
