Hatekhori celebrates half a million downloads at Bishwo Shahitto Kendro

Android App Hatekhori celebrates its 500,000 downloads at the Bishwo Shahitto Kendro recently. Professor Abdullah Abu Sayeed was present as the Chief Guest of the event where Architect Mubashhar Hussain and writer journalist Rajib Hasan were present as special guests. Hatekhori started its journey on 4th February 2014. Since then, owing to its massive popularity, the App, which kids interact with to learn to read and write Bangla, got downloaded for more than 500,000 times on Google Play. In 2017, with the release of two more complementary apps on Google Play, the App turned into a suite of Apps - Hatekhori Classic, Hatekhori Numbers and Hatekhori Conjuncts. Hatekhori Classic itself got downloaded for more than 500,000 times whereas Hatekhori Numbers was downloaded for 35,000 times and Hatekhori Conjuncts for 15,000 times since their release. Though about 80% of downloads are from Bangladesh, about 15% of downloads take place from India. Other countries leading downloads are the KSA, UAE, USA, UK, Kuwait, and Malaysia.
