More shocking news and it’s not just the name Ps5 landing at the end of this year

CES 2020 has rolled in with a whole host of tech news and by far the most jaw dropping news from the event was that Sony's next-generation console the successor to the Ps4, will be called the Ps5. Separating ourselves from the shock value of the name reveal, we can take a gander at the leaks which surfaced of the Developer kit—and it looks like a Set-top Box. While one can hope that the next-generation console won't look like something for mums and dads to enjoy, Sony has however registered a patent through the WIPO (World Intellectual Property Office), with Sony technical director Yusuhiro Ootori being listed on the patent as its designer too. These designs are still speculative and the final product may not look as such, but if it does end up shipping with this look, it might be easier to get the Ps5 as a pretence for a new Set-top box for the whole family.
