Best mobile games of 2019

One of the biggest turns of the decade was the growth of mobile gaming. A key change in this category happened when indie games started coming to mobile—Gris, Journey, Minit, Hyper Light Drifter are all playable on mobile as of 2019. But what were the best games solely made for mobile? Let’s have a swipe through them and see what the best of mobile gaming had to offer.

Alien: Blackout

Alien: Isolation was one of the most eerie Alien experiences ever made but was quite buggy as a PC game, so a spinoff sequel for mobile only had a very polarising impact. But this game is just as atmospheric as its predecessor, minus the glitches. While the game takes a lot of the gameplay that made Five Nights at Freddy work, it is still a great game worth checking out.

Rush Rally 3

Apart from Asphalt and Real Racing, this is the other great racing game on mobile. Rush Rally 3 won accolades year round for being one of the best rally racing simulators made for mobile. The game is packed to the brim with features to keep players engaged for a long time. And the mix between real simulation and arcade makes this racer not only a competitive one, but also a fun experience for first time players.

Call of Duty: Mobile

We have previously highlighted COD: Mobile but since we're doing a best on mobile for 2019, this game deserves another mention because it was truly the best mobile game of the year. It is essentially the old-school COD experience on mobile, with team deathmatch, Gun Game, control the area mode Domination and Zombie Mode (from Black Ops).
