Mobile banking payment platform creates record

Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina formally inaugurated the program of disbursement of primary education stipend using mobile banking this March 1, 2017 using Rupali Bank SureCash mobile banking to 10 million mothers' accounts benefitting 13 million students by video conference with mothers of Tungipara (Gopalganj), Pirganj (Rangpur) and Parbatipur (Dinajpur). This is indeed a record  This program covers 60,000 primary schools and 13 million students. Government is disbursing about 14 billion taka each year as primary education stipend.
