‘#CheerThemUp’ photo contest winners receive prize

WE Smart Solutions today handed over prizes to the winners of '#CheerThemUp' photo contest at a prize giving ceremony held at The Daily Star Centre.

Three lucky winners received WE X2 smartphones and seven got WE B2 smartphones, according to a release.

Muntasir Ahmed, head of marketing of WE Smart Solutions, and Elita Karim, editor of Star Weekend, presented the prizes to the winners.

The contest, jointly organised by WE and The Daily Star, created a platform for the fans to cheer for their supported teams in last year's Bangladesh Premier League (BPL).

A microsite was launched for the campaign where fans sent their photos while cheering for their respective teams from November 17 to December 9, 2016.
