BDEMR: Medical info at fingertip

Bangladeshi mobile application BDEMR has been launched on Wednesday to provide all kind of medical solution including – appointment of physician, prescription, and health diagnosis report – on a single platform. Information Minister Hasanul Haq Inu announced the official launch of the BDEMR application as a chief guest at an event at Dhaka Club at Shahbag area in the capital while BSMMU Vice Chancellor Prof Kamrul Hasan Khan and Bangladesh Medical Association Secretary General Ehteshamul Haque Chowdhury were guests of honour on the occasion. The BDEMR (Bangladesh Electronic Medical Record) apps is the brain-child of a non-resident Bangladeshi physician Ashit Bardhan who is now living in Canada. Speaking on the occasion, BDEMR founder Ashit Bardhan informed that although the EMR idea is very popular in the western country, it is very newer in our country.
