Around 70 percent of the establishment work has been completed and the government already imported server, networking equipment, storage capacity, power system, cooling system, fire systems and other equipment which will also be installed shortly, the state minister said.

The Tier IV National Data Centre is also supposed to speed up digital information flow with safe and secure data when completed, said State Minister for ICT Division Zunaid Ahmed Palak.

The Tier IV is the highest level regarding reliability, availability and performance.

According to the ZTE Corporation, the centre will be the number one secured data centre in the whole South Asian region, and the sixth most secured data centre in the world.
