APPLE WWDC 2016 highlights

This year's WWDC was not about getting more people to use Apple goodies but about making it better for the people who already do. That is one way of saying; it had nothing related to any new hardware other than improvements on the OS front. A new and improved Watch OS, Watch OS 3 was revealed which has a serious performance boost and is faster than the previous version. It also improves the interface with new control features. A new TV OS was also mentioned which has a ton of new native apps and allows you to use your iPhone as a remote. The OS for the Mac has also been overhauled and is renamed as Mac OS Sierra. It has some key new features like Auto Unlock that unlocks your MacBook when you open it wearing your Apple Watch. It also features a universal clipboard which is a common clipboard for all of your Apple devices. The stuff you copy on your iPhone can be used on your MacBook. Mac now also has SIRI which is open for developers' i.e it can interact with third party apps. The Mac OS also has new provisions for you to pay using a PayPal or Amazon account. Another key announcement was iOS 10. New features of iOS 10 include a way for you to delete stock apps like Weather, News etc. The notifications on the lock screen are also made prettier and now comes with an all clear button. iOS 10 has better integration of 3D Touch. Widgets, for example, can be brought up through that now. Apps made by Apple like the Music and News app have all been reworked and there is a new app called Home that acts like a hub for all of your home appliances. iOS 10 also makes your emoji game strong , it prompts you to replace word in your sentences to be replaced by emojis and the emojis are all three times bigger than before. Another key point on the OS front is the implementation of machine learning. For example your photos app will now be able to categorize photos based on their subjects and will store them accordingly.
