Safe hands on raising awareness for a healthy tomorrow

On the occasion of Global Handwashing Day 2022, an awareness-raising programme was organised in the capital city by Safe Hands Liquid Hand Wash, a brand of Quazi Enterprises Ltd., that was participated by people from all walks of life.

Compared to the last two years, the number of people afflicted with diarrhoea in the country has increased substantially. As diarrhoea is a water-borne disease that can be contained through regular washing of hands and by drinking & using safe water, it is important that we raise awareness on this and spread the awareness all around.

Keeping this in mind, an awareness-raising campaign rally with the motto, 'Safe Hands for a Better Tomorrow' was undertaken by Safe Hands Liquid Hand Wash on October 15, 2022, that started its journey at 10:00 AM  from Bangabandhu Government Primary School, Tajmahal Road, Mohammadpur.

Safe Hands Liquid Hand Wash conducted a Health Camp and installed a Hand Washing basin and Water Purifier at the educational institute. Besides, an awareness drives regarding the prevention of diarrhoea through safe drinking and use of water and maintaining proper and regular hand washing was carried out in the neighbourhood, adjacent schools and mosques along with the distribution of protective handwashing materials.

The campaign was inaugurated by the popular singer, Mehreen Mahmud and the Chief Executive Officer, CEO of Quazi Enterprises Ltd., Mr Rafikol Amyeen. The Brand Manager of Quazi Enterprises Ltd., Ms Nahida Begum and other high officials of the Company were also present on the occasion.
