RAK Ceramics and HBRI to host workshops for construction workers

To equip our construction workers with better skills, RAK Ceramics BD Limited and Housing and Building Research Institute (HBRI) have recently inaugurated a year-long training workshop, titled, "Tiles Fitting and Eco-Friendly Concrete Block Masonry" under the ministry of housing and public works, the government of Bangladesh. This year, a total of 24 workshops will be held. 40 construction workers will be trained in each workshop. At the end of the workshop, they will get a certificate from HBRI. Honourable Director General of HBRI Md Ashraful Alam was present along with Mr Shadhon Kumar Dey, COO and CFO, RAK Ceramics BD Limited, S M Arafatur Rahman Head of Marketing, RAK Ceramics BD Limited and Mr Nafizur Rahman, Principal Research Officer of HBRI at the inaugurated program.

The Director-General of HBRI thanked RAK Ceramics for its support in this initiative of training skilled tile masons. The COO and CFO Mr Shadhon Kumar Dey of RAK Ceramics also said, "We are proud to host the workshop with the collaboration of HBRI"
