Inauguration of DataBird LaunchPad 2021 Partnered with ICT Division and LICT

DataBird LaunchPad 2021 is a platform to support young innovators and builders solving problems uniquely with technology. The platform brings in exciting partnerships with ICT Division, Bangladesh, LICT Bangladesh, Durbar, BASIS, and The Daily Star to wider the horizons to provide a platform and create more opportunities for our future innovators in the internet ecosystem.

DataBird has organised a virtual inauguration ceremony for DataBird LaunchPad 2021 on 12 July 2021, Monday, 4 pm to 5 PM (BST). The ceremony will be graced by The Honourable State Minister, ICT Division, Mr Zunaid Ahmed Palak as the Chief Guest. Senior Secretary, NM Zeaul Alam PAA, Senior Secretary, ICT Division will also be joining as the Special Guest of the event. The partners and ecosystem stakeholders will also be there to support the DataBird Launchpad 2021 platform.. Sami Ahmed, Policy Advisor for LICT Bangladesh and Tina Jabeen, CEO & Managing Director, Startup Bangladesh Limited will speak at this event. The President of BASIS, Syed Almas Kabir and Md. Tajdin Hassan, Chief Strategy and Digital Transformation Officer, The Daily Star will also be speaking on the need for such platforms for a growing Tech Base Industry in Bangladesh.

DataBird partnered with LICT and ICT Division, Bangladesh to encourage talented young entrepreneurs, developers, engineers, and builders to work towards building an inclusive internet ecosystem.
 

The platform DataBird Launchpad 2021 is allowing students and entrepreneurs to participate from all corners of the country, this will empower the young innovators with grants and resources at different stages of ideation. The selected innovators will receive intensive mentorship and resources from mentors. From the Grand Finale in September 2021, the best team from the Professional Track will get a grant of BDT 15 Lac and the most innovative idea from the Student Track will receive 2 MacBooks. There are more exciting grants and rewards for the runner-up teams in both tracks.
