BSRM chairman wins highest taxpayer award

Alihussain Akberali, chairman and chief executive officer of Bangladesh Steel Re-Rolling Mills (BSRM) Group of Companies, was recently honoured with the highest taxpayer award by the Chattogram Income Tax Department as the best taxpayer of Chattogram district in the individual taxpayer category.

Akberali also received the award in the same category in 2017-18 and 2018-19 financial years respectively, said a press release.

BSRM also received the highest taxpayer award in 2021-22 in the engineering category.
