The Daily Star attains Superbrand status

The Daily Star, the highest circulating English daily in Bangladesh, has attained "Superbrand" status in the newspaper category for the year 2023-24.

The Bangladesh Brand Forum revealed the names of 40 local brands that received this honour in various categories through an awards ceremony at the Sheraton Dhaka yesterday.

The awardees were selected by Superbrands Bangladesh, a representative of Superbrands Worldwide. With operations in 90 countries across the globe, the organisation works to determine the most prestigious and valuable brands from diverse industries.

The brands are selected through a process that involves independent and voluntary panels of experts from a range of backgrounds, known as the Brand Council.
