Razee Hassan again BFIU chief

The government on Monday appointed former Bangladesh Bank deputy governor Abu Hena Mohd Razee Hassan as the chief of Bangladesh Financial Intelligence Unit (BFIU). Hassan earlier served in the position from 2012 till September 2018, when his tenure as deputy governor ended, says a BB press release yesterday.

During that time, he monitored activities at different departments of the central bank. Hassan completed his graduation and post graduation in economics from the University of Dhaka. He also received a master's degree in economics from Vanderbilt University, USA.
