Pathao cuts commission on bike rides to 10%

Pathao has brought down its commission on bike rides to allow riders to earn up to 90 per cent of the trip fare.

From November 25, Pathao will take 10 per cent of the bike ride fare during peak hours (8am-11am and 5pm-8pm) and up to 15 per cent during the off-peak hours.

Previously, the ridesharing platform charged 15 per cent as commission on two-wheel rides in Dhaka and 25 per cent in Chattogram and Sylhet.

This new commission structure will be applicable nationwide.

With this commission cut, we wanted to recognise the largest and most loyal pool of riders at Pathao, who are ensuring a safe and reliable experience for our users," said Fahim Ahmed, CEO and managing director of Pathao.
