Open market sales of oil, lentil, sugar begin tomorrow

Open market sales of soybean oil, lentil and sugar will begin from tomorrow and it will continue until August 26.

The commerce ministry took the decision today to mark the sad month of August during the birth centenary of Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman, said a press release of the ministry.

As per the decision, the soybean oil would cost Tk 100 per litre, lentils Tk 55 per kilogramme (kg) and sugar Tk 55 per kg.

Trading Corporation of Bangladesh (TCB) will sell the commodities through trucks across the country.
