Novartis gets new country CFO

Fahmid Wasik Ali has recently been appointed country chief financial officer of Novartis (Bangladesh).

He will also act as finance director and company secretary in the company’s board of directors, according to a statement.

Ali joined Novartis in 2006, serving most recently as the CFO of the pharmaceuticals division.

Having completed post-graduation in accounting from Dhaka University, Ali is also a fellow member of the ICMAB.
