LafargeHolcim offers $2m through sustainable construction contest

LafargeHolcim will award professionals capable of showcasing sustainable construction solutions along with architectural excellence.

The company announced a sixth cycle of the international awards competition that offers $2 million in prize money, the global construction materials and solutions provider said in a statement yesterday.

The design competition seeks projects and concepts from architecture, engineering, urban planning, materials and construction technology and related fields.

The competition closes on February 25 next year.

Independent expert juries in five geographic regions of the world evaluate submissions using the comprehensive “target issues” for sustainable construction of LafargeHolcim Foundation.
