Infrastructure dev fairs kick off next week

Several fairs under a “26th Build Bangladesh International Expo 2019” will be organised in Dhaka showcasing equipment, technologies and services related to infrastructure development.

Cems Bangladesh in association with Cems Global USA will organise the fairs for three days at International Convention City Bashundhara from October 17.

The participating companies are from the construction, power, solar, water, safety and security, lighting and real estate industries, said Meherun N Islam, president of CEMS Global, at a press conference at Economic Reporters’ Forum in Dhaka yesterday.

Over 14 countries including, Bangladesh, India, China, Sweden, Germany, Italy and the US will take part, she added.

The event will also host two seminars on industrial rooftop solar and sustainable management of industrial water and wastewater, according to a statement.

The events are namely “22nd Power Bangladesh Expo 2019”, “17th Solar Bangladesh Expo 2019”, “2nd Dhaka International Lighting Expo 2019”, “3rd Water Bangladesh International Expo 2019”, “20th Real Estate Expo- Bangladesh 2019” and “4th International Safety and Security Expo Bangladesh 2019”.
