Gold prices to rise by Tk 1,721 per bhori from tomorrow

Jewellers have decided to increase gold prices by Tk 1,721 per bhori (11.664 grams) from tomorrow.

The Bangladesh Jewellers' Association (BAJUS) took the decision today as the rate went up in both international and local bullion markets.

As per the new rate, each bhori of 22-carat gold will now cost Tk 84,185 while the same amount of 21-carat gold will be priced at Tk 80,199 per bhori, respectively up from Tk 82,464 and Tk 78,732 previously, BAJUS said in a press release.

Similarly, the price of 18-carat gold will be Tk 68,934 per bhori, up from from Tk 67,476 earlier.
