Genex Infosys wins ‘BASIS Luna Shamsuddoha Award’

Genex Infosys, a business process management (BPM) and IT services company, has been awarded 'BASIS Luna Shamsuddoha Award 2022' for employing the highest number of women in this sector. 

Parliament Speaker Shirin Sharmin Chaudhury distributed the award at a ceremony at Radisson Blu Dhaka Water Garden on March 20, said a press release.

Education Minister Dipu Moni, Private Industry and Prime Minister's Private Industry and Investment Adviser Salman F Rahman, and ICT State Minister Zunaid Ahmed Palak were present at the programme.

"Genex has always believed in workplace diversity and ensures equal opportunity for women, our culture has been built in such a way that women feel safe, respected and empowered in Genex environment," said Mojumder.

The award was launched to honour and recognise women entrepreneurs and professionals in the workplace and their contribution to society. BASIS launched the award to commemorate the invaluable contribution of Luna Shamsuddoha to the ICT industry.
