CEMS to organise six concurrent shows

Six concurrent international exhibitions focusing on power plants, solar energy, lighting, real estate and construction and its safety and security are scheduled to run for three days starting on October 25 at International Convention City Bashundhara in Dhaka.

Organiser CEMS Global aims to create a platform for entrepreneurs and consumers to build productive business networks, increase connectivity with local government agencies and be acquainted with the latest technologies and services.

“These expos help Bangladesh create brands in the global market as well as build up a bridge between manufacturers and clients,” said Meherun N Islam, president and group managing director of CEMS Global, yesterday.

Investors and traders of 220 organisations from 19 countries including Russia, Japan, the US, Ukraine, Singapore, China, England, Malaysia, the United Arab Emirates, South Korea, Italy, Germany and Turkey are scheduled to take part in the events.

Addressing a press conference at the National Press Club, Islam said Dhaka International Lighting Expo 2018 was the first of its kind, highlighting the significance of associated materials in the housing sector.

The 21st Power Bangladesh Expo 2018 will showcase sophisticated power plant machinery while the 16th Solar Bangladesh Expo 2018 will highlight solar panels and related products.

The 23rd Con-Expo Bangladesh 2018 is scheduled to reveal new technologies, materials, methods and equipment driving the construction industry's rapid growth. The 3rd International Safety & Security Expo Bangladesh 2018 will also feature the sector.

Projects and facilities promising commitment and quality are said to be coming at the 19th Real Estate Expo-Bangladesh 2018.
