Emirates appoints new Bangladesh manager

Emirates has appointed a new area manager in Bangladesh.

With half a decade's experience in aviation industry, Saeed Abdulla Miran will be responsible for overseeing Emirates' operations, optimising revenue and expanding the airline's footprint.

He joined Emirates six years ago as a commercial support manager in Doha and later served as country manager in Sudan, the airline said in a statement yesterday.

Emirates operates 21 flights a week from Dhaka and via Dubai, offering connections to over 160 destinations in 86 countries.
