Bangladesh gets record 31 lakh new mobile internet users in March

Bangladesh added 31.37 lakh new mobile internet users in March in its subscriber base, which is the highest monthly addition in around a year and a half.

The country now has 11.61 crore internet users, of which 10.63 crore browse internet through mobile devices, according to data of Bangladesh Telecommunication Regulatory Commission.

However, only 2,000 new mobile internet users have been added to the subscribers' base in February, despite adding 8.38 lakh new users in January and 4.48 lakh in December last year.
