Bangladesh Business Awards begin at Radisson Dhaka

The Bangladesh Business Awards ceremony began today at the Radisson Blu Dhaka Water Garden in the capital to honour the country's businesses for their exemplary contributions to the economy in 2021.

It is the 20th edition of the award initiated by the DHL Express and The Daily Star in 2000 to recognise the roles of businesses in overall economic development of the country. 

Planning Minister MA Mannan will handover awards to the winning businesses.

The theme of this year's Bangladesh Business Awards was "Bridge to prosperity, connecting beyond borders".

DHL Express and The Daily Star introduced the awards to recognise the achievements and positive contributions of business organisations and individuals who have not only grown but contributed to the economic development of the country.

It is now considered as one of the most prestigious events in business circles.
