Banglabandha land port resumes operations after 12 days

Export and import operations through Banglabandha land port have resumed after 12 days of work suspension on the occasions of Eid-ul-Azha.   

Abul Kalam Azad, in charge of the land port, said all trades, including export and import, started in full swing from around 11:00 am yesterday.  

The port had been shut since July 19 on the occasion of Eid, he said.

A total of 10-PR Float Glass-laden trucks left for Nepal while 216 different goods-laden trucks entered Bangladesh from India and Bhutan through the port today.
