New DMD for SIBL

Abu Naser Chowdhury has recently been appointed as deputy managing director of Social Islami Bank Ltd.

Prior to the appointment, he was the deputy managing director of Rupali Bank, SIBL said in a statement yesterday.

Chowdhury started his banking career as a senior officer at Janata Bank in 1986.

He also served Janata Bank as general manager for its Chittagong division.

Chowdhury studied honours and masters in economics at the University of Chittagong.
