New DMD for City Bank

Mohammad Mahbubur Rahman has recently been promoted as deputy managing director of City Bank. Prior to the promotion, he was the chief financial officer of the bank, the bank said in a statement yesterday.

Mahbub has also served the World Bank as the financial management specialist for South Asia. He also worked with Leads Corporation as chief financial officer and Grameenphone in various capacities including head of revenue accounting.

Mahbub is a Chartered accountant from the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Bangladesh.
