Pran-RFL targets $2 billion export by 2030

Pran-RFL Group targets to export products worth $1 billion by 2025 and $2 billion by 2030.

The leading business conglomerate wants to export all the products it manufactures for the local market.

Ahsan Khan Chowdhury, chairman and chief executive officer of the group, revealed the export target at a press meet titled "25 years of Pran-RFL export: Taking Bangladesh to the world" at a hotel in Dhaka today.

Pran-RFL exported goods worth $532 million in 2021-22 fiscal year.

Chowdhury said their products are now competing with well-known brands of different countries and are being displayed in famous chain shops.

Pran-RFL Group's products are now available in different global chain stores, including Walmart, Carrefour, Loblaws, Aldi, Lidl, Mydin, Dollarama and Tesco, he said.

At present, the group is regularly exporting its products of various sectors, including agricultural products, plastic products, garment, footwear, light engineering, chemical goods and furniture, to different parts of the world.
