DSE, CSE inch up

The Dhaka and Chattogram bourses rose slightly in the morning session today.

The DSEX, the benchmark index of the Dhaka Stock Exchange (DSE), gained 3 points, or 0.05 per cent, to 6,345 at 11:10 am.

Turnover stood at Tk 341 crore.

Of the securities, 93 advanced, 71 declined and 136 remained unchanged.

The Caspi, the all-share price index of the Chittagong Stock Exchange, added .32 points to 18,743.

Of the issues, 28 rose, 40 retreated, and 28 saw no price movement.

Turnover of the port city bourse stood at Tk 8.2 crore at 11:13 am.
