Dhaka stocks dip, Chattogram bourse up

The prime index of the Dhaka Stock Exchange (DSE) edged down today.

The DSEX, the benchmark index of the premier bourse in Bangladesh, lost 2 points, or 0.04 per cent, to 6,334 at 12 pm.

Turnover stood at Tk 299 crore.

Of the securities, 76 advanced, 94 declined and 168 remained unchanged.

The Caspi, the all-share price index of the Chittagong Stock Exchange, gained 22 points, or 0.12 per cent, to 18,740.

Of the issues, 49 rose, 34 retreated, and 57 saw no price movement.

Turnover of the port city bourse stood at Tk 3.9 crore at 12 pm.
