Dhaka, Chattogram stocks rise

The Dhaka and Chattogram bourses rose in the morning session today.

The DSEX, the benchmark index of the Dhaka Stock Exchange (DSE), gained 13 points, or 0.21 per cent, to 6,354 at 11:18 am.

Turnover stood at Tk 324 crore.

Of the securities, 112 advanced, 63 declined and 162 remained unchanged.

The Caspi, the all-share price index of the Chittagong Stock Exchange, added 31 points, or 0.16 per cent, to 18,763.

Of the issues, 63 rose, 27 retreated, and 46 saw no price movement.

Turnover of the port city bourse stood at Tk 6 crore at 11:20 am.
