Dhaka, Chattogram stock exchanges open flat

The prime indices of Dhaka and Chattogram stock exchanges opened almost flat today.

The DSEX, the benchmark index of the Dhaka Stock Exchange (DSE), inched up 0.24 point, or 0.003 per cent, to 6,223 at 11:25 am.

Turnover stood at Tk 110 crore.

Of the securities, 53 advanced, 38 declined and 164 remained unchanged.

The Caspi, the all-share price index of the Chittagong Stock Exchange, edged down 2 points, or 0.01 per cent, to 18,380.

Of the issues, 17 rose, 13 retreated, and 19 saw no price movement.

Turnover of the port city bourse stood at Tk 66 lakh at 11:30 am.
