Concord celebrates 40th anniversary

Concord Group on Friday launched a new restaurant, a new brand of jeans and a ready mix concrete plant to mark its 40th anniversary.

The restaurant and convention centre was opened at Fantasy Kingdom, the group's theme park in Savar.

The new brand of jeans—Freestyler—is designed to serve all age groups and aimed at turning out to be a substitute to foreign jeans brands in the country, Concord said in a statement. 

The ready mix cement plant—the group's third plant—has a production capacity of 50 cubic metres per hour, which will help boost the factory's output, according to the statement.
