City Bank gets new AMD

City Bank has recently appointed Adil lslam as additional managing director, the private commercial lender said in a statement yesterday.

He served as chief risk officer for South and Southeast Asia at ANZ Bank and HSBC Indonesia. He also worked as head of wholesale banking at HSBC Bangladesh.

lslam has more than 26 years of banking and business leadership experience, gained through working in various international banks and financial institutions in Southeast Asia and the Middle East, according to the statement.

He has knowledge and experience in business development, risk governance and organisational transformation, driving sustainable business growth.
