Apex Footwear celebrates silver jubilee

Apex Footwear has celebrated 25 years of its operations with a programme at the company's factory in Shafipur on Monday.
Syed Manzur Elahi, chairman of Apex Footwear; Syed Nasim Manzur, managing director; Munize Manzur, director, and Golam Mainuddin, independent director of Apex and chairman of British American Tobacco Bangladesh, were present at the event, the company said in a statement yesterday. 
Apex Footwear is a leading manufacturer and exporter of leather footwear to major shoe retailers in Western Europe, North America and Japan.
It earned $138.5 million in revenue in 2013, according to the company website.
