Bus torched, 2 bombs blasted in capital

Miscreants set fire to a bus in Sayedabad area and blasted two crude bombs at Dayaganj in the capital this morning, the sixth and last day of opposition-sponsored countrywide blockade of road, rail and waterways.

Unknown people torched the bus around 6:30am at Sayedabad, a fire service official said.

Locals doused the fire before firefighters reached the spot, he said.

On the other hand, blockaders blasted two crude bombs at Dayaganj around 8:00am.

None was hurt in the incidents in the capital.
