Brahmanbaria Facebook group distributes food items among 355 jobless labourers

A Facebook group based in Brahmanbaria today distributed food items among 355 labourers, who are out of work due to the ongoing shutdown to curb coronavirus transmission.

The group named 'Bounbairar Kotha' distributed food packets at Brahmanbaria Primary Teachers Training Institute premises in the district town, maintaining physical distancing in the morning, reports our Brahmanbaria correspondent.

Each of the packets included eight kg rice, four kg potato, three kg flour, one kg onion, one kg garlic, one kg salt, one litre soybean oil, one soap and a mask.

'Bounbairar Kotha' has been providing relief for the helpless people in the district over the last six years.
