Bomb-like object found near Ctg judge’s house
Police today recovered a bomb-like object from in front of the Panchlaish residence of Judge SM Mojibur Rahman dealing with the sensational 10-truck arms-haul case.
Omar Faruk, officer-in-charge of Panchlaish Police Station said finding a bottle wrapped with a red scotch tape, family members of Chittagong Metropolitan Sessions Judge Mojibur Rahman informed the police.
Later, police recovered the bomb-like object from near the house around 12:00pm. A white paper was found with the bottle where someone wrote that Sheikh Hasina and her son, Sajeeb Wajed Joy, are atheists.
Police said someone kept the bomb-like object to create panic among people. On Sunday, Judge SM Mojibur Rahman fixed January 30 for delivering the verdict in the 10-truck arms haul case.
