Miscreants snatched away Tk 10 lakh from a representative of bKash Ltd, a subsidiary of Brac Bank, after shooting him in the capital's Mirpur this afternoon.
A pedestrian also sustained bullet wounds in the incident.
bKash staff Abul Kalam, 30, and pedestrian Kabir, 28, were whisked off to Dhaka Medical College and Hospital.
Two unidentified criminals, riding a motorbike, shot Kalam at Begum Rokeya Sarani around 1:45pm and took away the money from his possession, sources at the medical said quoting the victims.
Both Kalam, who was going to a Brac Bank branch in Mirpur-10 by a motorbike to deposit the money, and Kabir sustained several bullets wounds in the incident, the sources added.
