Biman Bangladesh Airlines will operate a special flight from New Delhi on Friday to bring back Bangladeshi nationals who have been stranded in India for around a month due to the coronavirus pandemic.

Biman's Managing Director and CEO Md Mokabbir Hossain told media that the special flight would bring back 162 Bangladeshi citizens.

The Bangladeshi nationals stranded in New Delhi can purchase tickets for the flight from Biman's mobile app or website from today until 2:00pm on April 23, he said.

Indian government suspended air communication with different countries, including Bangladesh, to contain the spread of Covid-19.
