BELLISSIMO Boat Ride on Valentine's Day

Bellissimo wanted to give something special to their customers on Valentine's Day 2014. They ran a campaign called 'Bellissimo My Ultimate Valentine' where they held a 'selfie' contest on Facebook which led to the central idea to make the Valentine's Day experience extra special for three winning couples. The couples were taken on a romantic boat ride on the Jamuna and Padma rivers on Valentine's Day. The 'selfie' contest ran for 7 days from February 4 to 11.
The winners, Farhana and Fahim, Wasifa and Ritu Raj, Novera and Naveed, were picked up on Valentine's Day early in the morning and taken to Aricha Ghaat to start their cruise. Later came a buffet lunch with exquisite dishes cooked to perfection. Lunch was followed by dessert, and Bellissimo ice cream. The couples were taken for a stroll on a little sandy island on the Padma river. They returned to the boat after their time on the island to find a nice surprise waiting for them in the form of flower bouquets and sweet little valentine cakes. A live performance by prominent rock star Shakib Chowdhury made the evening even more special.
The boat docked back to land at dusk and the couples were taken back to Dhaka, leaving them with an experience they themselves confirm that they'd never forget. To further etch this into everyone's memories, their entire experience from getting on the boat till getting off will be released as a music video that'll be available shortly.
