Urgent visa for family members of Christchurch victims

An individual family member of each of the Bangladeshi victims fallen at the acts of terror at Christchurch in New Zealand can now apply for urgent visa to bring the bodies back.

The Government of New Zealand has decided to hand over the bodies of Bangladeshi victims to an individual family member, who can travel to New Zealand, according to a press release from the Bangladesh Ministry of Foreign Affairs. 

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs has appointed Md Walid Bin Qasem, assistant secretary (Welfare) as the focal point in this regard, said the release.

In order to facilitate the visa of New Zealand, one individual member from the victim's family can apply for New Zealand visa online and upon completion of the visa application, he may contact the aforementioned official.
