BDR carnage, BB heist probe report to be made public: BNP

BNP, if voted to power, will release probe reports regarding the BDR carnage and Bangladesh Bank reserve heist and will take initiative for further investigation.

It also vowed to place honest and efficient people at the boards of state-owned banks and Securities and Exchange Commission to prevent recurrent of share and banking scams.

Tbe party also said it will stop political intervention in the running of state-owned banks and the banking division of the finance ministry will be abolished to vest all powers with the central bank to run and oversee the banking system.
