Ershad to fly to Singapore after Jan 15

Jatiya Party Chairman HM Ershad will fly to Singapore any time after January 15 next year for health checkup.

Maj (retd) Khaled Akhtar, personal assistant of Ershad, informed this to The Daily Star.

Earlier on December 10, Ershad went to a Singapore hospital on treatment purpose and returned to Dhaka, three days ahead of the national election.

Ershad, also special envoy to Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina, didn’t participate in the election campaign.

He also didn’t go to his constituency Rangpur-3 to cast his vote on health ground, said Khaled Akhtar.
