BNP’s Standing Committee Member Barrister Moudud Ahmed today claimed that if the upcoming elections are even 50 percent fair, then there will be no “news” of the ruling Awami League after the December 30 general elections.

“There is no level-playing field at the moment anywhere in Bangladesh,” Moudud said at a press briefing at the party's central office at Dhaka's Nayapaltan this morning.

BNP will remain on the field, no matter how much its men are tortured and how much AL men violate the electoral code of conduct, he further said.
