BANGABANDHU ADVISED COMPLETE REST

Prime Minister Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman who was taken ill on late yesterday night with serious pain in the abdomen is now under treatment. His personal physician Professor Nurul Islam has advised Bangabandhu complete rest for a few days. He has requested the visitors not to disturb the prime minister.

SUPPORT FOR SINDHIS, BELUCHIS, PATHANS

Zillur Rahman, general secretary of Bangladesh Awami League, today declares support for the struggle of the Sindhis, Baluchis and Pathans for their rights of self-determination and appeals to the United Nations to arrange a plebiscite in Pakistan so that these people can determine their own fate. 

FAZLUL QUADER CHARGED WITH MURDER

Fazlul Quader Chowdhury, the president of Convention Muslim League, is charged with murder and collaboration with the Pakistan Army during the Liberation War. According to knowledgeable sources, 21 other accomplices of Fazlul Quader who are still at large will be declared absconders very shortly. It is learnt that 12 cases including that of Fazlul Quader will be taken up under Collaborators' Order during the ensuing month.

INDIA, PAKISTAN WITHDRAW OVERFLIGHT CASES

India and Pakistan have decided to withdraw cases related to suspension of over-flights from international courts. This step is taken following the signing of Simla Agreement early this week between Pakistani President ZA Bhutto and Indian Prime Minister Indira Gandhi.

MAJ JALIL CALLS ON BANGABANDHU

Major Jalil meets Bangabandhu to pay him respect at Bangabandhu's residence today. No detail of their talks is available.
