AL supporters are ‘fake Muslims’

Former vice president of Dhaka University Central Students' Union Nurul Haque Nur has called the Awami League supporters as "fake Muslims".

Appearing on a Facebook live on Wednesday, Nur condemned the arrest of his party men and also the Hefajat-e-Islam leaders and activists following the recent countrywide mayhem.

"Awami extremists are spreading hatred against Islamists. They are writing against them on Facebook. They are assassinating their characters … They [Awami League] are not Muslims — they don't have any faith. Please enquire if any of them prays five time daily," said Nur.
